Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective science lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Plan and prepare high-quality, resourced schemes of work aligned with the curriculum

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning
  • Participate in professional development and coaching opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS
  • Proven experience in science teaching at the secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge in science
  • Commitment to the school's values of hard work, integrity, and fairness
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a supportive school culture

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and curriculum development
  • Experience with inclusive education and differentiated instruction
