The Opportunity:

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. You will play a key role in fostering curiosity and academic excellence, while contributing to curriculum development and promoting the school’s values of community, kindness, aspiration, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Plan and sequence lessons to support student learning and achievement.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental collaboration.
  • Support behaviour for learning and promote a positive classroom environment.
  • Participate in enrichment activities and extracurricular programs.
  • Promote the school’s values of community, kindness, aspiration, and resilience.
  • Engage in Trust-wide professional development and subject networks.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
  • Strong knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology curricula.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Experience in assessing student progress and providing feedback.
  • Commitment to promoting positive behaviour and inclusive learning environments.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
  • Background in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
  • Experience with enrichment activities and extracurricular programs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
