Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Lead and develop extra-curricular sports activities
• Promote a positive learning environment and student participation in sport
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes
• Support the school’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and continuous professional development
• Monitor and assess student progress in line with curriculum requirements
• Contribute to the wider school community through professional and extracurricular involvement
• Stay up to date with best practice in PE and sports science education

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant PE or sports science qualifications
• Experience in teaching PE at KS3 and KS4 level
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to student development and inclusion
• Ability to deliver innovative and engaging lessons

Preferred

• Experience with Cambridge National Sports Science qualification
• Leadership experience in extra-curricular sports programs
• Background in working with diverse student groups
• Experience with safeguarding and promoting student welfare
• Familiarity with multi-academy trust structures and collaboration
