Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Business Studies lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England and international qualifications.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and critical thinking.
- Support students in their academic and personal development through pastoral care and extracurricular involvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the school.
- Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure high standards of learning and achievement.
- Contribute to the wider school community by engaging in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.
- A certified teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate.
- Extensive experience teaching the National Curriculum of England and International Baccalaureate (IB).
- Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies with a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Experience teaching IGCSE, AS/A Level, and BTEC qualifications.
Preferred
- Experience working in an international school setting.
- Familiarity with evidence-based teaching methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to extracurricular activities and student leadership programmes.
