The Opportunity:

As a Secondary Business Studies Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the British curriculum, inspiring students to develop analytical, entrepreneurial, and critical thinking skills. You will play a key role in shaping future leaders through engaging, real-world teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the British curriculum, including GCSE and A-Level Business Studies.
  • Use real-world and industry-relevant teaching approaches to model analytical and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Monitor and support student progress through formative and summative assessments.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and the creation of high-quality teaching resources.
  • Support the academic and pastoral wellbeing of students, promoting the school’s values and expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and next steps.
  • Participate in school events, enrichment programs, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Business Studies up to A-Level.
  • Background in AI-driven learning or innovative teaching methods.
  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a school setting.
