The Opportunity:

As a Secondary ICT Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-Level ICT/Computer Science. You will inspire students with practical, skills-focused teaching and support their growth in digital literacy and computational thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured ICT lessons in line with British curriculum standards.
  • Model strong digital literacy and problem-solving skills through creative, technology-rich teaching.
  • Monitor and support student progress using formative and summative assessment strategies.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of up-to-date teaching resources.
  • Support the academic and pastoral wellbeing of students, promoting the school’s values and expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and achievement.
  • Participate in school events, enrichment activities, and digital innovation initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.
  • Fluent English speaker with excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching ICT/Computer Science up to at least GCSE level (A-Level desirable).
  • Familiarity with AI-driven learning and digital innovation initiatives.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support programs.
