A school is seeking a motivated and flexible Secondary Cover Assistant to join its team as it expands its secondary school program. This role is essential in supporting teaching and learning, ensuring continuity in education, and contributing to a positive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning across a range of subjects in the secondary school.
• Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery under the guidance of senior staff.
• Monitor and support student behavior and well-being in a classroom setting.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and teachers.
• Use the iSAMs Management Information System to track student progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience.
• Adapt to changing needs and provide flexible support across the school.
• Promote the values and ethos of the school in all interactions with students and staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children.
• Knowledge of the iSAMs Management Information System.
• A can-do and flexible attitude.
• Commitment to the values and ethos of the school.
• Bachelor’s degree or High School Certification.

Preferred

• Experience using Google Suite, including Google Classroom.
