You will deliver high-quality Geography lessons to IGCSE and A Level, while also contributing to Humanities at KS3. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to diverse student needs.
  • Plan creative, interactive, and stimulating lessons that inspire curiosity and challenge students.
  • Foster strong teacher-student relationships and maintain high expectations for all students.
  • Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear feedback for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of learning and share best practices.
  • Participate in professional learning sessions and contribute to departmental development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents on academic and pastoral matters.
  • Contribute to the organization and delivery of extra-curricular activities, school events, and competitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified and experienced teacher with a strong background in Geography.
  • Ability to teach Geography to IGCSE and A Level, and Humanities to KS3 level.
  • Experience working with second language learners is advantageous.
  • Commitment to innovative teaching and a passion for education in an international setting.

Preferred

  • Experience with Cambridge International Examinations.
  • Strong track record of achieving excellent student results.
  • Experience in developing and implementing schemes of learning.
  • Familiarity with the Nord Anglia Education framework and values.
