Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote critical thinking and student engagement.
- Support students in achieving academic excellence through differentiated instruction and personalized learning.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities that enhance student development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in professional development and training to enhance teaching practice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.
- A certified teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate.
- Exceptional subject knowledge in Science, with extensive experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
- Experience teaching International Baccalaureate (IB) and IGCSE, AS/A Level.
- A proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- A strong commitment to contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.
Preferred
- Experience working in an international school setting.
- Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme and BTEC qualifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
