Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs through tailored teaching and learning.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that focus on literacy, numeracy, and reading skills.
- Work closely with support staff and leaders to ensure students achieve academic and personal growth.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes well-being and resilience.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop holistic support plans for students.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress regularly.
- Participate in staff meetings and training to enhance teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in SEMH or special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and support students with complex needs.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Experience in teaching core subjects at Key Stage 3.
Preferred
- Experience in alternative provision settings.
- Knowledge of literacy and numeracy intervention strategies.
- Experience with behavior management and emotional support techniques.
- Familiarity with the curriculum and assessment frameworks.

- Competitive salary range from £32,916 to £51,048.
