The Opportunity:

As a SEND Administrator, you will support the SEND leadership team in delivering a responsive and effective SEND provision. This role is essential in ensuring that all students receive the support they need, while maintaining accurate records and communication with parents and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage SEND records and databases in compliance with GDPR
  • Support SEND processes, including EHCP annual reviews and exam access arrangements
  • Coordinate communication with parents, staff, and external agencies
  • Manage diaries, meetings, and correspondence for the SEND leadership team
  • Update and maintain the SEND register and SIMS database
  • Provide a professional first point of contact for all SEND-related enquiries
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting for SEND-related processes
  • Support the implementation of inclusive strategies across the school

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Experience working in a school or SEND environment
  • Understanding of SEND processes, including exam access arrangements

Preferred

  • Knowledge of SIMS or similar systems
  • Experience with managing large volumes of data
  • Understanding of educational legislation and policy
