The Opportunity:
As a SEND Support Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school's SEND department. This is a dynamic and impactful position that ensures every child receives the support they need to succeed. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will be vital in maintaining smooth operations and delivering high-quality administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date SEND records and databases.
- Support the administration of EHCP reviews and annual review meetings.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and correspondence with precision.
- Liaise effectively with parents, local authorities, and external agencies.
- Organise meetings and manage the SEND calendar efficiently.
- Ensure all confidential information is handled with the utmost professionalism and care.
- Provide calm and organised support during times of change or unexpected challenges.
- Collaborate closely with the SENDCo, teachers, and support staff to deliver consistent support to students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands with confidence.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management systems.
- Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
- Experience working in education, SEND, or administration (desirable).
Preferred
- Knowledge of SEND processes and terminology.
- Experience supporting EHCP administration.
- Previous experience within a school environment.
