The Opportunity:

As a Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will lead and shape a high-impact fundraising strategy, securing transformational support to help more girls thrive and lead. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of girls’ education and make a lasting difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and delivery of a strategic fundraising plan across Trusts, Foundations, and corporate partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including Trustees, Heads, and leadership teams.
  • Oversee the coordination of high-impact fundraising initiatives and ensure the achievement of financial targets.
  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to fundraising that align with the school’s mission and values.
  • Deliver complex fundraising programmes with a focus on long-term growth and sustainability.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects and maintain strong communication with all key partners.
  • Articulate the school’s vision and values with clarity and confidence to secure support.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising performance and impact regularly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in Trusts and Foundations fundraising and corporate partnership development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-term, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning and delivery of fundraising programmes.
  • Experience in managing financial targets and delivering results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in the education sector or related fields.
  • Knowledge of innovative fundraising approaches and portfolio planning.
  • Experience with large-scale fundraising campaigns and transformational giving.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use insights to inform strategy.
