The Opportunity:
We are seeking an ICT & Computing Teacher to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality education. The role offers the opportunity to inspire and challenge students while supporting their academic progress and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality ICT & Computing lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
- Plan and prepare schemes of work and individual lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and support the development of the ICT & Computing curriculum.
- Stay up to date with developments in ICT and computing, integrating innovative teaching methods and technologies into lessons.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
- Support the school’s Catholic ethos and values in all aspects of teaching and learning.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and events that promote student engagement and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in ICT & Computing.
- Proven experience in teaching ICT & Computing at a secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s Catholic values and ethos.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering innovative and engaging ICT & Computing lessons.
- A track record of achieving positive student outcomes and exam results.
- Experience with digital technologies and software relevant to the subject.
- Experience in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and a commitment to lifelong learning.
