The Opportunity:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the school’s buildings, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment that supports teaching and learning. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development, maintenance, and cleaning of the school’s buildings, equipment, and grounds.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee contractor performance and ensure all work meets the school’s standards.
  • Lead on facilities management, security, and compliance procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Head of School and Operations Manager to make recommendations for site improvements.
  • Ensure that the school environment supports high-quality teaching, learning, and school life.
  • Act as a role model and demonstrate the school’s core values in all interactions.
  • Support students in a professional and appropriate manner.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in site management or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Experience in managing facilities and grounds in an educational setting.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working within a school environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in a dynamic and demanding setting.
  • Experience with contractor management and facilities planning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £31,022 - £33,699 per annum.
