The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Site Assistant to support the school’s operations and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and staff. This role is essential in maintaining the school’s standards and supporting the smooth running of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective and efficient site services including building security, cleaning, porterage, and minor repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for all users of the site.
  • Communicate in a friendly and effective manner with staff and students.
  • Support other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team, using initiative when required.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a high standard of work and uphold the school’s values and principles.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Energetic, hard-working, self-motivated, and flexible individual.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and students.
  • Good team working skills and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to work unsociable hours and adhere to a flexible shift pattern.

Preferred

  • Experience of similar premises work or relevant practical DIY skills.
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Understanding of and commitment to the school’s Christian principles.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £25,989 - £29,540 per annum.
  • £1,443 unsociable hours allowance.
