As a Technology Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality Design & Technology curriculum at GCSE and A-Level. You will join a successful and growing department, contributing to the school’s continued improvement and helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Design & Technology to GCSE and A-Level students.
  • Support students in developing practical and theoretical knowledge through innovative teaching methods.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them succeed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Promote the school’s values, including respect, inclusion, and high standards of behaviour.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and events that support student engagement and learning.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment that reflects the school’s Christian principles.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Design & Technology.
  • Ability to teach GCSE and A-Level qualifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s Christian values and inclusive ethos.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality lessons and supporting student learning.

Preferred

  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation in Design & Technology.
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a school setting.
  • Familiarity with teaching apprenticeships or supporting trainee teachers.
  • Experience in safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
