The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Site Maintenance Officer to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the school site. This role offers the chance to contribute to a supportive and dynamic working environment while supporting the school’s mission of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the school site.
  • Ensure all facilities are maintained to a high standard, in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with relevant staff and contractors to address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of school buildings and equipment.
  • Support the Assistant Site Manager in the management of the site and its resources.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Assist with planning and implementing maintenance schedules and projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to site maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in site maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience working in an educational setting is desirable.

Preferred

  • Experience with building maintenance systems or software.
  • Previous experience in a school or similar institution.
  • Relevant qualifications in building maintenance or a related discipline.
