The Opportunity:
As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the school’s environment by overseeing general maintenance, cleaning, and security services. This is an opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of a school that is focused on student success and staff well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the school premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
- Conduct regular checks and log all maintenance, cleaning, and security activities on the Trust’s electronic reporting system.
- Coordinate with other staff members to address any issues promptly and effectively.
- Support the school in maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
- Assist in the implementation of health and safety protocols across the school.
- Monitor and report on the condition of school facilities and equipment.
- Collaborate with the Trust’s maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities and communications related to site management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in maintenance, cleaning, or security services within an educational setting.
- Ability to use electronic reporting systems for logging and tracking tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to health and safety standards.
- Flexibility to work term time only, with additional hours as required.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a school or educational environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Experience with facility management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and positive attitude towards problem-solving.
