Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality maths lessons that are engaging, challenging, and aligned with curriculum standards.

- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning across the department.
- Support students through pastoral care, including form tutoring and contributing to their overall wellbeing.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to continually improve teaching practice and subject knowledge.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
- Ensure the safe and effective use of school resources and facilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics at the appropriate level.
- Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
Preferred
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience in pastoral care or form tutoring.
- Leadership experience or the potential to take on departmental responsibilities.
- Experience with collaborative learning techniques such as Kagan strategies.
- A passion for promoting the importance of maths in everyday life.
