As a Casual Science Technician, you will support practical learning in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, helping to create safe, engaging, and inspiring science experiences for students. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of practical science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and resources to ensure safe and effective teaching.
• Assist in the development of engaging and innovative science experiments and activities.
• Collaborate with Science teachers to support curriculum delivery and student learning.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety in all science-related activities.
• Contribute to enrichment activities and extracurricular science events.
• Ensure the laboratory environment is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Support the ongoing improvement of science teaching and learning practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant experience in a science laboratory or technical support role.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a school science environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

• Experience working in education or a school setting.
• Familiarity with modern science teaching methods and equipment.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (if applicable).
• Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a similar role.
