Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes across a range of subjects during teacher absences
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure student engagement
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with academy policies
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
• Support the wider school team as required
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Adapt to changing classroom needs and student requirements
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure consistent learning outcomes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence in managing groups of students in a classroom setting
• Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
• Experience in a school or educational setting

Preferred

• Previous experience in a teaching or supervisory role
• Experience with behaviour management strategies
• Familiarity with curriculum delivery and student engagement techniques
• Experience with digital learning tools and resources
