The Opportunity:

As a Sixth Form Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students through their critical transition to higher education and beyond. You will provide individualised care, academic guidance, and practical support to help students reach their full potential in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support 6th Form students with 1-1 learning and attendance registration
  • Provide tailored care and support to students with specialist learning needs
  • Manage EHCP paperwork and coordinate resource requests with the SENCO and inclusion team
  • Maintain and manage study centre resources for independent student learning
  • Assist with supervision and registration during cover lessons

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant teaching or educational support qualification
  • Experience working with young people, particularly in a school or educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to inclusion and supporting students with diverse needs

Preferred

  • Experience in a sixth form or post-16 educational environment
  • Familiarity with EHCPs and SEN support systems
  • Experience in pastoral care or student welfare roles
  • Previous experience in a Church of England school or similar setting
