The role involves teaching Biology to GCSE and Science at KS3, with A Level Biology preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and support students in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Biology to GCSE and Science at KS3, with A Level Biology preferred.
• Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
• Support students in developing a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning.
• Contribute to the development of the Biology curriculum and departmental initiatives.
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
• Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
• Participate in extra-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Biology.
• Ability to teach Biology to GCSE and Science at KS3.
• Commitment to inspiring and motivating students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Experience working with students of all abilities.

Preferred

• Experience teaching A Level Biology.
• Experience with ECTs (Early Career Teachers).
• Background in pastoral support or student welfare.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and innovation.
