The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Social Sciences lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Develop and implement a broad and varied curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Support students in achieving excellent results and raising aspirations through effective teaching and pastoral care.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high standard of teaching and learning.
- Participate in the planning, assessment, and review of student progress.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your teaching practice and subject knowledge.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and student support initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and follow school policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Social Sciences.
- Proven experience of teaching at Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving strong student outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s ethos and vision for excellence in education.
Preferred
- Experience of teaching a broad and varied Social Sciences curriculum.
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
- Experience with pastoral support and student welfare.
- Experience in professional development and training delivery.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technologies.
