The Opportunity:

As a Specialist Resource Provision Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping a new and innovative Alternative Provision. This is a unique chance to lead a team and create a tailored learning environment for children with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs, while being part of a collaborative and supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff within the Specialist Resource Provision
  • Develop and deliver a bespoke curriculum tailored to the needs of pupils with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Collaborate closely with families, specialists, and colleagues to support pupil progress
  • Implement strategies that promote inclusion, emotional wellbeing, and positive behaviour
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to stakeholders
  • Support the ongoing development of the provision through reflective practice and professional learning
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all pupils
  • Work in partnership with the wider school to maintain strong links and shared values

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience in teaching within a primary setting
  • Strong knowledge and experience in SEND and SEMH support
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
  • Commitment to inclusion and child-led practice

Preferred

  • Experience in working with children with ASD and ADHD
  • Background in alternative provision or specialist resource settings
  • Experience in behaviour management and emotional wellbeing support
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in developing and delivering bespoke curriculum
