The Opportunity:
As a Specialist Resource Provision Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping a new and innovative Alternative Provision. This is a unique chance to lead a team and create a tailored learning environment for children with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs, while being part of a collaborative and supportive school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of staff within the Specialist Resource Provision
- Develop and deliver a bespoke curriculum tailored to the needs of pupils with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Collaborate closely with families, specialists, and colleagues to support pupil progress
- Implement strategies that promote inclusion, emotional wellbeing, and positive behaviour
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to stakeholders
- Support the ongoing development of the provision through reflective practice and professional learning
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all pupils
- Work in partnership with the wider school to maintain strong links and shared values
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience in teaching within a primary setting
- Strong knowledge and experience in SEND and SEMH support
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
- Commitment to inclusion and child-led practice
Preferred
- Experience in working with children with ASD and ADHD
- Background in alternative provision or specialist resource settings
- Experience in behaviour management and emotional wellbeing support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in developing and delivering bespoke curriculum
