Key Responsibilities:

• Encourage student engagement and participation in classroom activities.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
• Assist with administrative tasks and classroom preparation as required.
• Promote positive relationships between students, teachers, and parents.
• Support the delivery of the school’s mission to foster independence and social competence in students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and support both students and teachers.
• Commitment to inclusive education and student welfare.
• Basic understanding of special educational needs and how to support students with diverse learning requirements.

Preferred

• Experience working with students with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs.
• Familiarity with inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction.
• Experience with behaviour management in a classroom setting.
• Knowledge of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) frameworks and policies.
• Experience in a school setting that values innovation and inclusion.
