Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and supportive environment that promotes student wellbeing and progress.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and deliver effective learning experiences.
• Monitor student behaviour and provide regular feedback to teachers.
• Support the implementation of individual education plans and personal development goals.
• Contribute to the school’s inclusive culture by fostering respect, empathy, and teamwork.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with students with learning difficulties and additional needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Flexibility and adaptability to support a range of student needs.

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of inclusive education practices.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Understanding of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) frameworks.
• Previous experience in a SEND setting or working with young people with complex needs.
