The Opportunity:

As a STEM Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging, project-based learning experiences that inspire and challenge students aged 13–17. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, student-centred learning environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on, project-based challenges and growth workshops that go beyond the standard curriculum.
  • Prepare and plan engaging lessons that align with the academic standards and reputation of the school.
  • Collaborate with the IMPACT Programmes Director, Coordinator, and Academic Director to ensure a cohesive and enriching experience for students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and personal development.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of the IMPACT Summer Programme, which runs in July 2026.
  • Support students in developing skills for success in today’s evolving, interconnected world.
  • Ensure all sessions reflect the school's commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
  • Encourage creativity, collaboration, and personal growth through interactive and challenging activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant degree or qualification in a STEM subject.
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging, project-based learning experiences.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering residential or summer school programmes.
  • Familiarity with engineering, design, and technology curricula.
  • Experience with teaching English as a second language.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of current trends and developments in STEM education.
