A Support Officer is needed to support the smooth running of pastoral systems and processes. This role has a significant impact on student well-being and school operations, making it a vital part of the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the smooth running of pastoral systems and processes within the school
• Build positive relationships and rapport with students, acting as a role model
• Reinforce the school’s behaviour curriculum and ensure high standards are maintained
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the federation to support student outcomes
• Be proactive in identifying and addressing student needs
• Contribute to the development of effective pastoral strategies
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students
• Support the implementation of school policies and procedures

Required

Preferred

• Experience working in a school or educational setting
• Previous experience in pastoral care or student support
• Experience with behaviour management strategies
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
• Experience working within a multi-school federation
