The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level, delivering engaging and challenging lessons.
- Foster a love of literature and language through creative and analytical teaching methods.
- Support the development of students’ critical thinking, writing, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the English Department to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
- Contribute to departmental leadership and development, including the potential role of Second in Department.
- Provide tailored support to students, ensuring they reach their full academic potential.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that promote a well-rounded education.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and assessment, ensuring alignment with the school’s academic goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in English education.
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student development and academic excellence.
Preferred
- Experience in departmental leadership or mentoring roles.
