Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and hands-on Physics lessons to students at all levels.
  • Support the school’s commitment to high academic achievement and student success.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, including specialist Physics Technicians.
  • Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school.
  • Participate in continuing professional development and induction programs.
  • Assist with the delivery of Science courses, including the possibility of teaching other Science subjects.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Physics education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative teaching and learning.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting, either in the independent or maintained sector.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching other Science subjects.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or the ability to work towards it.
  • Experience in a boarding or day school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
