Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3, 4, and/or 5 as applicable
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that foster curiosity and a love of learning
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress effectively
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular and pastoral activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices
• Engage in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the school’s commitment to student achievement and wellbeing
• Promote a culture of inclusion and high expectations for all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and high expectations for all students
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students

Preferred

• Experience in teaching Food Technology at Key Stages 3, 4, and/or 5
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment
• Experience in leading or contributing to extracurricular activities
• Experience with professional development and mentoring
