The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of Mathematics to join our dynamic department on a part-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and support students from Year 7 to A Level, while contributing to a successful and innovative department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons to students across all key stages.
  • Support students in achieving high academic outcomes and developing a deep understanding of the subject.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and innovative teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and school-wide initiatives.
  • Mentor and support students through individual and group-based learning strategies.
  • Encourage student participation in Mathematics competitions and enrichment activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics to A Level students.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with enrichment activities, such as UKMT Mathematics Challenges.
  • Familiarity with Oxbridge preparation and support programs.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to extracurricular Mathematics clubs or societies.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
