Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective science lessons that inspire curiosity and promote high standards of attainment
• Contribute to the development of schemes of work and resources in line with national standards
• Participate in departmental activities, including field trips and enrichment programmes
• Monitor and support student progress through regular assessments and feedback
• Act as a Form Tutor, promoting positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A good honours degree in science or a related discipline
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong knowledge of science curriculum requirements and exam specifications
• Excellent organisational and classroom management skills
