The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective science lessons that inspire curiosity and promote high standards of attainment
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work and resources in line with national standards
- Participate in departmental activities, including field trips and enrichment programmes
- Monitor and support student progress through regular assessments and feedback
- Act as a Form Tutor, promoting positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A good honours degree in science or a related discipline
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong knowledge of science curriculum requirements and exam specifications
- Excellent organisational and classroom management skills
Preferred
- Experience with teaching a range of abilities
- Commitment to personal and professional development
- Experience in a Catholic school environment
