Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching staff in delivering high-quality lessons and managing classroom activities.
  • Assist students with individual learning needs, including those with additional support requirements.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment through consistent and encouraging interactions.
  • Work closely with colleagues to implement school values and ensure student safety and well-being.
  • Contribute to the planning, preparation, and organization of teaching and learning resources.
  • Provide feedback to students and staff to help improve learning outcomes and classroom management.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior in line with school procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with young people in a school or transferable setting.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills, equivalent to GCSE English and Maths at grades A*–C / 9–4.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time and resources effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and a child-centred approach to education.

Preferred

  • Experience in a classroom or pastoral support role.
  • Knowledge of special educational needs and disability (SEND) support.
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Familiarity with curriculum planning and delivery.
  • Confidence in using digital tools for teaching and learning.

Compensation & Benefits:
