Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with additional learning needs in the classroom and during lessons.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of learning activities tailored to individual needs.
  • Work closely with teachers to monitor student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to help students develop key skills and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with staff.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching and support practices.
  • Encourage positive behavior and foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with students with additional learning needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a school environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school setting or similar educational environment.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and practices.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and learning support tools.
  • Experience with curriculum planning and delivery.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly rate of £13.91 per hour.
  • Flexible working hours over the week.
  • Temporary, term-time only contract.
