Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the classroom through small group work and individual assistance.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing feedback where necessary.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Contribute to pastoral care and support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work collaboratively with the Success for SEND team to ensure inclusive learning for all students.
  • Maintain clear and friendly communication with all stakeholders.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Communication.
  • Ability to build strong, professional relationships with children.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
  • Experience working with students in a supportive and educational setting.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or learning support roles.
  • Familiarity with special educational needs and inclusive learning strategies.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student welfare.
  • Knowledge of curriculum delivery and classroom management techniques.
