The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team and support students in achieving their full potential. This role plays a vital part in creating a positive learning environment and helping to deliver a high-quality education to all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning by assisting with lesson preparation and delivery
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students to enhance their learning outcomes
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for students
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to learning
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to student progress and behavior
  • Contribute to the development of inclusive teaching strategies and classroom practices
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures
  • Participate in staff development and training opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant qualification in education or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A commitment to the school’s vision of transforming lives through learning
  • Experience working with young people in an educational setting

Preferred

  • Experience in a school environment or related sector
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices
  • Experience with supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Familiarity with the INOVA MAT and its values
