Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality Economics lessons aligned with the Edexcel specification.
• Support students of all abilities in achieving their full potential through differentiated teaching strategies.
• Participate in weekly training sessions with SCITT specialists to enhance teaching and professional development.
• Engage students through co-curricular activities, including Enterprise clubs and the Business and Economics Society.
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues and subject specialists to improve departmental performance and student outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor’s degree (2:2 or above).
• Commitment to gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within a single academic year.
• Willingness to take on the responsibilities of a trainee teacher in a school setting.

Preferred

• Experience in Economics or related subjects.
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
