The Opportunity:

As a Training and School Facilitator, you will play a vital role in supporting member schools through professional development and expert training. This is an opportunity to make a real impact in the field of early reading and education leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate both online and in-person training sessions for member schools.
  • Provide expert support to MAT, English Hub, and Local Authority leaders.
  • Engage with the Champion School network to maintain programme standards.
  • Collaborate with the Little Wandle leadership team to expand outreach and support.
  • Deliver high-quality professional development that enhances teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Support schools in implementing the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised programme effectively.
  • Travel nationally as required to deliver training and support.
  • Work closely with the admin team to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of services.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in early reading and education leadership.
  • Strong facilitation and training skills, both online and in-person.
  • Experience with the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised programme.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with MATs, English Hubs, or Local Authorities.
  • Background in curriculum development or educational consultancy.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Familiarity with phonics programmes and early reading strategies.
