The Opportunity:
As a Training and School Facilitator, you will play a vital role in supporting member schools through professional development and expert guidance. This position involves leading both online and in-person training sessions, working closely with MATs, English Hubs, and Local Authorities to ensure the effective implementation of the Little Wandle programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and deliver training sessions both online and in-person for member schools.
- Support MATs, English Hubs, and Local Authorities in their work with the Little Wandle programme.
- Engage with the Champion School network to provide expert support to other member schools.
- Maintain and uphold standards across the Little Wandle programme.
- Collaborate with the Little Wandle leadership team and admin support to ensure smooth operations.
- Travel nationally and within specific regions as required.
- Provide guidance and support to schools to enhance early reading outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in early reading and phonics instruction.
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills.
- Ability to deliver training both online and in-person.
- Experience working with schools, MATs, or Local Authorities.
- Commitment to supporting the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised programme.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Preferred
- Experience with professional development or training delivery.
- Background in teaching or school leadership.
- Familiarity with phonics programmes and early reading strategies.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Strong understanding of educational policy and practice.
