The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Trampolining Coach to deliver high-quality trampolining sessions, both for recreational purposes and for elite athletes. This is an excellent opportunity to work with talented students and support their development in competitive trampolining at county and national levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and structured trampolining sessions for both recreational and elite athletes.
- Coach at a high level (Level 2 minimum) to support students competing at county and national levels.
- Attend competitions throughout the year, including evenings, weekends, and the Summer term.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with the PE Department to enhance the school’s sports programs.
- Support the development of students’ skills, confidence, and performance in trampolining.
- Maintain and promote the school’s reputation for excellence in sport and extracurricular activities.
- Participate in staff development and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum Level 2 coaching qualification in trampolining.
- Proven experience coaching at a competitive level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and the Summer term.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience working within a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of competitive trampolining and its progression pathways.
- Experience in developing and delivering sports programs for young people.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
