The Opportunity:
As Vice Principal for Curriculum and Inclusion, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of teaching, learning, and inclusion initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the development of curriculum and inclusion strategies across the institution.
- Oversee the quality of teaching and learning, ensuring alignment with the school's vision and goals.
- Support the professional growth of staff through continuous professional development (CPD) initiatives.
- Promote an inclusive environment that supports the needs of all students.
- Work closely with senior leadership to drive innovation and improvement in student experience.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and inclusion programs.
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance educational opportunities for students.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements related to curriculum and inclusion.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- In-depth knowledge of curriculum development and inclusion practices.
- Experience in managing and developing teaching and learning across a range of subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a Sixth Form or similar educational setting.
- Background in inclusion and special educational needs (SEN) support.
- Demonstrated success in driving improvement and innovation in education.
- Familiarity with Ofsted standards and inspection processes.
