The Opportunity:

As Vice Principal for Curriculum and Inclusion, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of teaching, learning, and inclusion initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the development of curriculum and inclusion strategies across the institution.
  • Oversee the quality of teaching and learning, ensuring alignment with the school's vision and goals.
  • Support the professional growth of staff through continuous professional development (CPD) initiatives.
  • Promote an inclusive environment that supports the needs of all students.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to drive innovation and improvement in student experience.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and inclusion programs.
  • Collaborate with external partners to enhance educational opportunities for students.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements related to curriculum and inclusion.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of curriculum development and inclusion practices.
  • Experience in managing and developing teaching and learning across a range of subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a Sixth Form or similar educational setting.
  • Background in inclusion and special educational needs (SEN) support.
  • Demonstrated success in driving improvement and innovation in education.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted standards and inspection processes.
