The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Principal in delivering the school’s strategic vision and educational goals.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of school improvement initiatives and quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure the school maintains high academic standards across all phases of education.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, professional development, and continuous improvement among staff.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, the wider community, and key stakeholders.
  • Promote the school’s unique position by blending British education with contemporary international thinking.
  • Support the development of innovative leadership and management practices across the school.
  • Ensure the school is actively engaged in collaborative networks and partnerships that enhance teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in senior leadership within an international or British curriculum school.
  • Demonstrated success in raising academic standards and leading school improvement.
  • Strong understanding of British education and its integration with international practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusive education.
  • Experience in managing teaching and learning across multiple phases and qualifications.

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB Diploma, BTEC, or AS/A Level qualifications.
  • Familiarity with the DBS Leadership Framework.
  • Background in character development and pastoral care.
  • Experience in leading professional development and CPD initiatives.
