The Opportunity:

A Visiting Music Teacher (Singing) is needed to deliver high-quality one-to-one singing lessons to students of all levels. This role offers the chance to inspire young singers and support their musical development in a dynamic and encouraging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 30 one-to-one singing lessons weekly to students across all ability levels
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and musical interests
  • Prepare students for examinations, assessments, and performance opportunities
  • Foster a lifelong appreciation for music through engaging and motivating instruction
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through individualized guidance
  • Collaborate with the Music Department to enhance the school's music program
  • Maintain a high standard of musical literacy and sight-reading skills
  • Provide accompaniment and support for ensemble performances

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent sight-reading and ensemble skills
  • Strong musicianship and musical literacy
  • Experience teaching singing at all levels
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young students
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, individualized instruction

Preferred

  • Experience with music examinations and assessments
  • Background in performance or professional music settings
