Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Collaborate with Form Tutors and colleagues to support student well-being and academic progress.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and classroom management.
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s extra-curricular programme.
  • Ensure the safety, happiness, and welfare of all students.
  • Participate in staff meetings, planning, and professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Year 3 or equivalent.
  • Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a selective or independent school environment.
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities.
  • Knowledge of modern teaching methodologies.
  • Experience with EAL or SEND students.
