Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Deliver one-on-one sessions that promote academic growth and confidence.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure consistent support and progress.
  • Monitor and report on student progress regularly.
  • Create a positive and encouraging environment that fosters student engagement.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Stay updated on educational best practices and incorporate them into your work.
  • Support students in developing key skills such as resilience, creativity, and leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in providing 1:1 educational support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting.

Preferred

  • Experience with curriculum development and individualized learning.
  • Familiarity with technology in education, including Apple Distinguished School initiatives.
  • Background in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Experience in co-curricular activities or pastoral care.
