Key Responsibilities:

  • Support 6th Form students in developing effective study habits and routines.
  • Supervise and manage independent study sessions to ensure a productive learning environment.
  • Foster a culture of learning and discipline within the 6th Form.
  • Provide guidance and encouragement to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
  • Monitor student behavior and ensure adherence to school policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation of strategies to improve student focus and engagement.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with students and staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in working with 6th Form students or similar age groups.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a study supervisor or pastoral role.
  • Knowledge of effective study techniques and learning strategies.
  • Experience in a Catholic or faith-based educational setting.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted standards and school improvement practices.
