The Opportunity:
As an Academic Administrator, you will provide essential executive support to the Senior Leadership Team and academic staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the school office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, student-focused environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of administrative efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Leadership Team with administrative and operational tasks, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Manage communications, diary coordination, and event organisation with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Assist academic staff with a range of administrative duties, ensuring a seamless and professional service.
- Maintain accurate records and manage school office systems efficiently.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support the school’s operations.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the school office during term-time and beyond.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation as required.
- Provide a high level of customer service to students, parents, and staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in an administrative or support role within an educational setting.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using office software and school management systems.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or academic environment, preferably within a senior leadership support role.
- Knowledge of educational policies and procedures.
- Experience with event organisation and diary management.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £22,581 (actual).
